In this video, I share my 6-month review of the Craftsman Tradestack tool storage system, focusing on the issues I’ve encountered, particularly with the latches. Join me as I discuss my experience with this product and provide insights on its performance, durability, and overall functionality. If you’re considering investing in the Craftsman Tradestack tool storage system, this review will help you make an informed decision.

The single biggest issue that I have found with my Craftsman Tradestack is in the latches. They’re not as consistent as I would like. The main latch that holds the box above it sometimes needs a little bit more finesse than I would like to see. I want to be able to take the box apart and put it back together again quickly and easily. I will give them credit, the latch does hold quite well once you get it latched, I’ve dragged this box out over some less than friendly ground to the middle of a field to work on a stuck tractor, and over to build a shed. I have not had an issue with the boxes looking like they’re going to come off.

The other latch that i’ve had issue with is the the little sets that the versa stack adapts to, the socket set and the drill bit set I keep on the top need some care to ensure that the latches don’t have issues. Once I came to grips with needing the right touch, I’ve been very happy with the Craftsman Tradeatack.

Bottom line, I still feel like the trade stack is a great value if you’re looking for a mobile tool storage solution without having to break the bank.
